3. Jesus and the Passover
Jesus himself was the 'Passover Lamb' whose death provided
a way of escape from death for all who had faith in him, and
trusted God. The apostle Paul states that "Christ, our
Passover lamb, has been sacrificed." (1 Corinthians 5:7),
thus comparing the death of Christ which saves us from death
with the sacrifice of the Passover lamb which saved Israel.
