God-given Profession.

We are called to be "children of God" (1 John 3:1). The call comes directly from the words of the gospel, a message of the assurance of God's forgiveness, and the hope of a glorious future offered to all by the preaching of Christ and his apostles, and recorded for succeeding generations in the Bible.

"Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do all these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:10).
