PASSOVER
P

2. Old Testament Passover feasts

Israel was instructed to celebrate their deliverance by an annual feast, at which a 'Passover lamb' was killed and eaten (in Exodus 12:26-27). In later years this feast was generally neglected by Israel but remembered and kept up at times of national reformation (see 2 Chronicles ch.30).

After the return of Israel from captivity the Passover was kept as an annual feast.
