There are three 'returns' spoken of in the Bible:
1.
The return of the nation of Israel from captivity in Babylon,
beginning about the year 536 BC.
(See RESTORATION; also Deuteronomy 30:3; 2 Chronicles 30:9;
Jeremiah 29:10; 30:3).
When God bought Israel out of Egypt He warned them that they
were never to return there again (see Deuteronomy 17:16).
Some did return in an attempt to escape the Babylonian captivity,
but before long the Assyrians invaded Egypt, and the refugees
from Israel were taken to Babylon.
