The End of Life for All Living Things.

In humans, and much of the animal creation, the heart ceases to circulate the blood and the lungs no longer draw in the air, which is the breath of life. The body disintegrates and returns to dust. Only God can restore life by resurrection. Death is the consequence of sin.

"Turn, O Lord and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave?" (Psalm 6:4-5).

"Just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 5:21).
