God gives us all things, and He wants us to be grateful, and to thank Him, for the small things of our everyday life as well as the big things, for the promise of eternal life in His kingdom.

"Let the redeemed of the Lord say this…Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." (Psalm 107:2, 8-9).
