Partial Inspiration.
The Bible is thought by some to be the work of human authors,
and by others to be only partly inspired by God. This raises
impossible problems, for man is then required to decide which
parts of the Bible God has written and which He has not. This
in itself is an exercise in blasphemy.
The Bible we have in our own language was originally written
in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, and over the years the meaning
of many words then in use have been lost. The Bible has been
written and copied since by human hands, and translated into
other languages by scholars who have sometimes been biased
towards their own opinions. However if we consider the Bible
as a whole, these are minor difficulties, and the whole message
of God comes out clearly from its pages.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that
the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
